Career & soft skills coaching

We pair ambitious students and aspiring young entrepreneurs with experienced, successful, and well-connected career coaches in Zimbabwe to guide them in pursuing their career path. The programme focuses on:

• Critical thinking: encourage students to develop their problem-solving skills. This includes their ability to debate a subject; form opinions on world events; perform simple mental maths

• Career and entrepreneurial skills: help youths explore their career options best suited for their skills and interests, better understand the role of technology in the future of work, and encourage them to engage in meaningful work to build up their CVs and confidence

• Fostering a growth mindset: students understand the value of curiosity, creativity, and thinking outside the box

• Debate: students exercise their critical thinking and communication skills though a short debate course with their career coach

• Etiquette: our students are young and have had limited exposure to networking with adults. Our career coach teaches them best practices.
